REVIEW: SWEET FILTHY BOY BY CHRISTINA LAUREN

 Summary
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems
 worlds away

Bio / Social Media

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.
Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.

Erin's Review

Oh Ansel, sweet Ansel, how do I love thee??? What can go wrong after a drunken girls weekend in Vegas? Anyone??? For Mia, everything....and not a damn thing! Mia and Ansel's attraction is immediate. Hell, I wanted to push her in to his hotel room when she first knocked on his door and if she didn't want to go in, I gladly would have! These two are sweet, sexy and so right for each other. But for Mia, who has never done anything like this in her life, it was totally the wrong thing to do. It really sucks living up to your parent's expectations, especially your father's. It really sucks when you follow in daddy's footsteps because that's what you're meant to do. And it really sucks when the very life that you worked for isn't the life that you want at all.

This story is so much more than a drunken girls weekend gone wrong. It takes a look at the what ifs, what's behind door #2 and sometimes the road not yet traveled just may be the right road after all. It's a story about getting to know someone you can't walk away from, even though you just met, and it's a story about taking your life in your own hands and doing what's right for you, not living someone else's dream.
The supporting characters are amazing and I was totally squealing like a 15 yr girl at a One Direction concert when I read that Harlow is going to get her own book. These girls are amazing, and the guys hot as hell. I don't know what took me so long to jump on the Christina Lauren fangirl bus but I'm a lifer. And now I need the Beautiful series-hint hint to my hubby-Mother's Day was yesterday it still isn't too late to buy these.
Sweet Filthy Boy is a hit, so find your Ansel, go to Paris and live your dream, or at the very least...buy this book!
