REVIEW: Longing by Jamie Schmidt

Description

Desire never goes out of style, as Jamie K. Schmidt proves in the sizzling continuation of her Club Inferno series—perfect for readers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You.

Reeling from a disastrous love affair, model and budding fashion designer Anya Litton needs a temporary refuge, a place to lick her wounds and plan her next career move. At Club Inferno, where seductively chic men and women indulge their most intimate fantasies, she can mix business with unimaginable pleasure. Anya quickly connects with club Dom Clint Reyes, who unleashes Anya’s deepest longings over nights of burning passion.

Clint is a master at taking submissives to the heights of pleasure in Club Inferno’s opulent private dungeons. But it’s Anya who has Clint begging for more when the woman of his dreams becomes his eager partner in exploring the limits of desire. As their relationship ignites into an erotic contest of wills—and a jealous rival plots against them both—Clint prepares to fight for a future with Anya. In this complicated dance, the wrong move could end it all . . . and taking control means total surrender.

Longing is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

ADRI'S REVIEW:

Thank you first of all to NetGalley and Random House for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.

We were first introduced to Anya and Clint during Mallory's book Heat. And I have to say we could pick up on the sexual tension between them from even that book. But I have to say that I have always loved Anya, for one simple reason, yes she is a model but she isn't stick figure thin she has curves and a sexy body. Something that I love that Clint notices and even though he is surrounded by beautiful skinny women all the time, he enjoys Anya the way she is.

Clint is such a sexy character in his own right, but that fact that he dances and is a dom... yeah that totally melts me into a puddle of goo. Clint is also smart and has great aspirations for the future.

I have to say every book has a character that we just hate, and this one has more than one, but even though Anya's nemesis is a bitch, its her agent that I detest the most. He makes her fell like she needs to lose weight to get a part, that the original actress played was the same size as she was.

Something I love about series is getting to see some former characters again, and with this one we get to see them again, only with this book series there are characters we can't wait to see have their own book. With this series I can see that happening. So know that I will be on the look out for the next book in this series and will bring you that review as well.

Happy reading... Adri
