So I enjoyed seeing how strong Ella and Liam's faith in their relationship was even after Liam finds out about Ella still being married. I also enjoyed the fact that Ella continues to grow as a strong character, standing up to her ex-husband and fighting for her freedom from such a bad relationship. 

Now I have to admit that I didn't enjoy a few things about this book. For one I didn't like the fact that there were times that I personally felt there was some drama for drama sake. Which brings me to the other thing that I didn't like was that certain parts felt a bit unrealistic in low things happened.

This is the reason that I can only give this story a three kiss review.

Within the first chapter Rachel had me hooked line and sinker into the book. The water works started when you realize not every story holds a happy beginning. Keep the tissues handy.  This was Liz’s story. She had already met her soul mate in Grady, fallen in love with him, and lived her happily ever after. This is not a story of Liz falling in love. It is a story of her learning to live again after love left her life.

I grew to care about each one of the characters for what they brought to the table. Needless to say Grady’s loss left a huge inpact on each of the characters. Liz was very overwhelmed with grief and raising her four kids alone. Emma, Liz’s sister, was her rock since Grady passed away! There were some very touching moments between Liz and her kids that pulled on my heart strings. Ben, I totally admired. He knew how hard it was for Liz and the kids to move on from their loss. Ben was very supportive, understanding, empathetic, patient, amazing with her kids, and overall great guy.

Liz was blessed to find her soulmate once in Grady. What she didn’t expect to find was the blossoming friendship with Ben. It was like Grady hand picked him to watch over his family.

I enjoyed reading the book so much that I didn’t want to put the book down. I rate The Five Stages of Falling in Love by Rachel Higginson 5 out of 5 kisses.

OMG is it possible to be in love with a book? Well if it is this one sure is the one. Lety is a strong independent woman. She proves that she doesn't need anyone to help her, because she doesn't want to depend on them. But at the same time she learned along the way that there is nothing wrong with letting others help you and to be there for you as support. I also loved how Lety was willing to live with the wrath of her family, but stood up to Carlos something no one else in her family had done.

Brody, I totally want to kidnap and keep in my basement. He is sexy, loving, loyal and strong, not only physically but emotionally as well. He helps to show Lety that there isn't anything wrong to just let someone into her heart, and that no everyone is out to hurt her. Even though he has is own past that he doesn't like to talk about, he accepts Lety's.

It was also great to see Evie and Teo from Once Perfect in this one. As well as a little more of a glimpse into Sophie and Killian. 

I give this story FIVE very solid and hard kisses.

OK... Where should I start? This is a great story, I liked how Slade changes his way of being for Jessica, but there were a few things I didn't really like about him. I personally think he needed to do something about his anger management issues, especially at times when dealing with Jessica. Her past shows she hasn't been through the easiest of relationships, and the fact that there were times he even intimidated me I was surprised not to see Jessica cringe away. Add to that his past dealings with women, I didn't think there was much of a redeeming quality about him. But he does prove to be a great strength when needed.

Jessica was a nice character, strong and willing to get out of the negative situation she was in. What I didn't really like about her was that she kind of gives in Dennis but stands up to Slade... To me it was a bit confusing on her character. 

Now don't get me wrong the story is actually very good and I enjoyed it over all. I liked that Jessica does finally stand up to not only Dennis but her parents as well. She has lots of support around her and she learns a few lessons along the way. 

I would have to say that a few of the supporting characters caught me more than the main characters did. I can't wait to know more about Cain and Violet as well as Frances and Tony. I look forward to more in the future from those characters.

I will give this story a four kiss rating.

Ok now if you all have been following this blog for a while you know very well how much I LOVE second chance love stories. And you also know that I have been following this series from Jennifer Chance for a while time. 

Erin is a great character that is willing to do anything for the around her, even someone that hasn't bothered to worry about her most of her life. She is willing to go through everything to help her mother (a character I really didn't care for, which I think was Ms Chance's idea). Erin has always had to work at keeping a head when all those around her are reckless even the love of her life. In the end that recklessness is what causes the end of their relationship as teenagers.

Zander (who by the way I loved the name) is sexy, strong, but so filled of anger. Hurt has been such a strong motivator for so many years for him. But so has his love for Erin. He is even willing to put his life on the line for her. Ms. Chance has done a good job of writing such a sexy character I wished I could go through the book and pull him out to do all kinds of things to him... Or better yet, let him do to me what he did to Erin in the book.

I HAPPILY give this book FIVE big wet kisses.

OK I have to admit when I first started to read this story I didn't think that I was going to be able to finish it. It wasn't easy for me to read about poaching or the things they do to hurt animals. I also didn't think that there was going to be redeeming qualities for Jospin, but Ms. Hart did a great job of bringing it all together. My heart hurt for Raven and the anger she carried around with her most of the time. She was so full of anger and hate, but I loved the fact that a gorilla was able help her heal. Which is one of the reasons it was so hard for me to read the parts where the poachers glorified and justified what they do to the beautiful animals. 

I will say a big thing of this book though that I REALLY didn't like (of course other than the poaching), was that this book ends in a bit of cliffy. So be prepared to have to wait for the next book and read that one (whenever it becomes available).

I give this book four kisses, mostly because of the cliffhanger and the poaching scenes.

Ok, Im going to start this review by saying TISSUE WARNING!!! So none of you can say I didn't give fair warning about the content beforehand. Because the one thing I know for sure about this story is that even though it takes place a long time ago, the situation could fit in todays way of life just as easily. The things that Michael deals with are very similar to things many of our injured returning soldiers deal with. The not only feelings of no longer being good enough for those he/she loves but that they are a burden on them. Sadly not always do they have people observant enough to see how close to the edge they are, like Michael had with Grace. Grace's strength, love and loyalty helped bring him back from a dark place more then once. Not only when he was first dealing with his injuries, but when he was home and feeling sorry for himself. There was one scene that showed how badly Michael had PTSD and how little things have changed over the years. Sharon does such a great job of writing these characters, of what they go through and make us feel like the story is taking place in todays society as easily as transporting us in time to the past. Though much of this review has been based on Michael, since he is my personal favorite of the story, I cannot forget about Grace, her emotional strength, her faith in her love helping Michael and her ability to put her own hurts behind her to help him are fantastic.

This is definitely a book to read in this coming year. Which is why I give it 5 kisses.

I know its a little late as it being past christmas, but personally I feel that this book would work just as easily as a anytime book as it does as a christmas one. 

Hayley is such a cute and fun character, though she has been badly hurt in the past, she finds herself quickly falling in love with Daniel and his girls. Which I must say are awesome little characters. She is playful, loving and very understanding with the girls. 

Daniel and what he has been through breaks my heart, there was even one point in this book that I found myself grabbing at the tissues. To be a single parent then have someone try and threaten your happiness after already having gone through so much. But I have to say that Daniel handles himself great during that hard time. To the point that he is able to help Hayley see that she really does belong in Montana with him.

Again even though this is titled like a Christmas story, I highly recommend picking it up and reading it now.

I would give this book five very solid kisses.

Ok I know its past Christmas and this review is a little bit late, but in my excuse is that it was christmas and I wanted to spend it with my family.

Now this was a great little collection of christmas stories. Each author brought us back to 1800's England and helped us feel what it was like for those in the ton to celebrate christmastide. 

Each story did have a couple of things in common, like the fact that each woman had a large dowery which brought around unwanted attention to them. They all fell for the least likely person and all became brides during the christmas time.

I truly enjoyed each and every story in this book and am confident you will as well.

I would definitely give this book and these stories a collective four kiss review.

Oh this is the perfect read for the Christmas Holiday. It was such a sweet and wonderful love story about two people who find love through a little superstition. Yes everyone thinks that Carina and Decker marry for the good of the ranch, but through the short days they spend married they not only fall in a deep love that started off as crushes, but learn they want more for each other. They want to make sure each of them realize their dream, what will make them happy is to see that the other gets what they have always wanted, even if that means losing their own dream. Granny June is a cute fun old lady character, Ty Briscoe is an ass, who I wish would learn how to express his love for his daughter in a better way. Carina is a sweet character, who is not only extremely dedicated to her family but to her job. So dedicated at times that she doesn't take enough time to do what she really loves. Decker, is that sexy bad boy as well as the hard worker who has decided to change his womanizing ways and sets his goals on fulfilling his life long dream before finding that those dreams have changed.

I would first like to thank Random House and NetGalley for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.

My heart breaks for Ella. The things she went through before meeting Liam couldn't have been easy, but it also shows her strength to be able get away from the situation. Though she makes a few choices that aren't always very smart, she does make sure that they are things that are best for her. I like the fact that she proves to Liam time and again that his money aren't what attracts him to her but more of his humble beginnings. 

I have to say there are times where I really like Liam, but others where I find him to be a bit of an ass. Because of the way he can sometimes be I kind of don't think he is proving himself to be the best thing for Ella.  At the same time I can see how not knowing how to win her over, since the tricks that he has used in the past don't work on her, can frustrate him. For a man who becomes used to getting whatever he wants, she poses such a fun challenge for him.

First of all I would like to thank Tasty Book Tours, NetGalley and Random House for providing us with a copy of this book so we can bring you this review.

Ok let me start off by saying I am in love. Totally and completely in love with this story. Though my heart breaks for both Shane and Brooke and the situation they each find themselves in. Brooke's strength to keep going and fighting even when she really wishes she could breakdown. She also does such a fantastic job of being there for Shane and showing him that, there is nothing he can do to make her feel like he is less then her. Though Shane does so often not feel like he is good enough for her, the way he is when he returns from war, injured and no where close to being the man he used to be, makes him feel even less worthy of her. But even if he doesn't want to admit it he really is her beacon of hope and even his memories of Brooke help him through his darkest moments.

This story is so real and honest. Anyone with someone they love in the military will not want to miss it. I know reading it had me thinking of my boys and preparing for whatever they could be dealing with. Wendy does such a wonderful job of helping us see into the thoughts of a war hero.
