First off I want to thank Random House and NetGalley for approving us and allowing us to bring you this review.
As you all know I Love, Love, Love second chance romances, and this is right there with it. It has a few aspects other than the second chance romance to it as well. It also has my secret love of BDSM and strong characters.
Daly isn't afraid to go after what she wants, well not entirely at least... she is scared of her feelings coming back for Jeremiah. The whole once burned twice shy would fit perfectly here for this. But there is more to their past then meets the eye.
Jeremiah is a bit of a hard character to like, but it's because he is so scared and cold about causing Daly any pain. Even if that means that he wont give any of himself to her. I also enjoy the fact that Jeremiah has changed his life and gone from a rough youth to a strong, honest hard working adult. The fact that he is a sexy Dom doesn't hurt.
I have to say for a premier author Lea Griffith does a fantastic job with this book, its such a sexy read you will be sweating in the air conditioning. I look forward to reading more... Oh and I totally want to know what happens with Daly's brother and Jeremiah's sister.
