Im going review the entire Cowboys of Chance Creek Series by Cora Seton. I have to say that I read the first book and fell in love with it and the series in one fell swoop. So I will be reviewing each and everyone since I read them all in less then a week.
THE COWBOY'S E-MAIL ORDER BRIDE
Ethan Cruz should be mending fences on his Montana ranch, but instead he’s driving to the Chance Creek, Montana, airport – to pick up the bride he didn’t know he had. This latest salvo in his ongoing practical joke battle with his best friend, Rob Matheson, has gone too far, and Ethan plans to send his “bride” right back home, then get busy plotting his revenge. One look at Autumn Leeds changes his mind, however. Perhaps he needs a bride, after all. A breathtakingly beautiful city bride.
Autumn Leeds needs a story – fast – or she’s going to lose her lucrative contract with CityPretty Magazine, so when she sees the crazy video plea for a modern mail-order bride for a cowboy, it sounds like the story of the century. Making a video of her own, she casts herself as the perfect mail-order bride for a rancher, but when she finally reaches Montana, she’s surprised to find Ethan’s the perfect cowboy husband-to-be. Against her better judgment, her plan to keep her handsome groom at arm’s length disintegrates into a night of passion spent in his arms.
Ethan knows he can’t keep playing this game – he has to come clean with Autumn and tell her the truth; about the practical joke and about the state of his ranch. He’s about to lose it all because of the debts his mother racked up before his parents’ deaths. Now his sister, Claire, wants to sell the ranch and collect what little money they can. He’ll be out of a home and a job, and in no shape to support the bride he desperately wants to marry, after all.
Autumn’s in bigger trouble than ever. Not only has she fallen in love with the subject of her expose – she might be carrying his child. If she doesn’t write this article and secure her contract for another year, she’ll lose everything – her career, her apartment, and more importantly, her family’s approval. The only alternative is to stay and marry Ethan. But how can she trust a man she’s just met when she knows too well that men always let you down?
Can a love based on lies last?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
This book introduces us to the Cowboys of Chance Creek. And let me tell you the way it throws us into Chance Creek is fun and interesting. Cora Seton doesn't slowly ease us into it, she jumps right into the fun. One of the things I enjoyed most about reading this book was watching Autumn's transformation and slow progression into falling for Ethan and Chance Creek is great. Ethan's plan to just get a little fun before he ships Autumn back to New York backfires quickly when he starts really see what type of woman she is. She is exactly what he needs, the only problem is that they are both keeping a secret, and as well all know secrets are never good to keep.
THE COWBOY WINS A BRIDE
All Jamie Lassiter wants is to marry his best friend’s sister and settle down for the rest of his life in Chance Creek. He’s saved his money, bought into the Cruz Guest Ranch and he’s ready for that wedding, but Claire Cruz is nowhere to be found.
Claire’s too busy leaving Montana behind to care about cowboys or their wedding plans. She’s got plans of her own – a trip around the world. She’ll go as soon as she buys her tickets and she doesn’t care if she ever sees Chance Creek again.
Desperate to change Claire’s mind, Jamie proposes a bet: give him six weeks to convince her to marry him. If he can’t, he’ll pay for her round-the-world tickets himself.
Claire can wait six weeks if it means free tickets and a chance to get a little revenge on a man who once broke her heart. She’s got only one stipulation: Jamie can’t touch or flirt with her – or any other woman – while the bet is on.
Now Jamie’s on the run from a bevy of cowboy-groupie ranch guests, and Claire’s learning she cares about the ranch – and Jamie – more than she dreamed possible.
Maybe it’s time to lose that bet.
As long as Jamie loses it first

ADRI'S REVIEW:
Ok so this is the second book in the series, and it gave me mixed emotions. I both hated and loved Claire, I liked that she was strong and was willing to fight for what she wanted. But I also thought she was a bitch. Now Jamie I was completely in love with him from book one. He is such a sweetheart and mild mannered. He was also so willing and anxious to help out Ethan save the ranch. I also loved the fact that Jamie was so determined to fight for Claire and her love. There were also a few parts of this book that made me laugh. Poor Jamie was put into situations that any man would buckle under.
THE COWBOY IMPORTS A BRIDE
Rob Matheson's a fighter. Flattening enemies with his fists or with his legendary practical jokes, he's a tough enemy, and a troublesome friend. But Rob doesn't know how much longer he can keep up the act. As his buddies get married one by one, he's left with his lonely life - and the sinking feeling he lost more than his dreams when he traded them for a thick skin. Now Rob's father has issued a challenge - he'll give 200 acres of prime Montana ranchland to the first of his four sons to wed. No conditions, no meddling. Could this be a chance to become the man he really wants to be?
Morgan Tate's worked for years to climb the ladder to a top job at Cassidy Wineries, but Duncan Cassidy, the boss' son, always stands in her way. Now he’s issued an ultimatum; marry him or he’ll make sure she never works in the wine industry again. Morgan wants marriage - and a family - but not with Duncan. A certain cowboy in Chance Creek, Montana, has stolen her heart.
When Rob offers Morgan a proposition - marry him and split the land - they both find themselves with an ethical dilemma. They don't know each other well enough to wed, but they can't lie about their intentions before God and man, either.
Now they've got sixty days to fall in love, and a passel of family and friends determined to keep them apart. The victims of Rob's previous jokes are lining up to get their revenge, and Morgan's half-sister, Claire, is stirring up their mother's past.
Will it take the biggest practical joke of all to convince the world - and themselves - that they're truly meant to be man and wife?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
We are introduced to Morgan in the second book, but the third one is her chance to find love. Now we already know what kind of person Rob is from interacting with him in the first two books. The prankster is set up for the prank of his life by own father. Though part of this book takes place outside of Chance Creek it was still so full of ranch life. It is also great to see how things are going for the other characters in the previous books. It is nice to see why Rob is the way that he is in this book. It shows how much more in depth he really is. It also gives us an insight at his family life. We also see Morgan and what her life is like, how strong she actually is and how much she has survived on her own.
THE COWGIRL ROPES A BILLIONAIRE
Bella Chatham will lose everything – her veterinary practice, her animal shelter, and even her home – if she can’t find another source of income, fast. So when her best friend signs her up for the hot new reality television show, Can You Beat a Billionaire, Bella accepts the challenge and hopes against hope she can win the ten million dollar prize. If she doesn’t, it’s bye-bye pet clinic and shelter, bye-bye Chance Creek, Montana, and hello to marriage to the billionaire for a year!
Evan Mortimer, billionaire, can’t believe he’s reduced to competing in a television contest to win a wife. Unfortunately, it’s the only foolproof way to secure his position as head of Mortimer Innovations. At least he’ll be able to dump his “spouse” at the end of the year. He has no intention of getting hitched for life.
Bella doesn’t expect her adversary to be handsome – or funny, or compassionate – but Evan’s all three, and he’s proving a tough competitor, too. When they end up sharing a tent – and a sleeping-bag – her body betrays her with a longing so deep it cuts her to the core. Still, this cowgirl must stay strong. If Evan uncovers her secret fears, he’ll use them to win the contest – and then he’ll own her for a year. She’ll be out of luck, out of cash, and stuck being Mrs. Mortimer until he kicks her to the curb. Too bad she can’t decide which is worse – winning the show and losing Evan forever, or losing the show and only being his temporary wife.
Evan can’t believe he’s falling for the one woman who doesn’t want him. This cowgirl’s not impressed by his money, his name, or his inability to sleep in a tent with her for an entire night, but every look and touch she gives him sends his desire through the roof. With a director determined to use his claustrophobia to make him look like a fool, and an adversary so sexy he can hardly see straight, he’ll need all his savvy to come out on top. Too bad he’s going to lose no matter how this show turns out. If he beats Bella, he’ll destroy the first woman he’s ever loved. If he doesn’t beat her, it’s bye-bye Mortimer Innovations.
Will either of them remember in time that it’s not who wins or who loses – it’s how they play the game that really counts?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
This one is a little bit different then the other books in this series as we aren't seeing whats going on in one of our cowboys lives but whats going on with one of Chance Creeks Cowgirls... One with an amazing heart. Though I have to admit it was a bit strange and different not to be in the middle of Chance Creek for most of this book, but at the same time it was nice to see how the characters could deal with things in the rest of the world. Evan is a bit of prick at the beginning, but quickly starts to change his way of seeing things and in the end I came to really love him. Bella is strong and determined. And add to the fact that she has all these things she went through when she was young and survived is awesome.
THE SHERIFF CATCHES A BRIDE
When county sheriff Cab Johnson gets a hunch, he’s learned to trust it, and his hunch tells him Rose Bellingham is in a peck of trouble. Bad enough he’s in love with her, bad enough she’s already engaged to Jason Thayer. He’s got to figure out what she’s hiding before he loses her for good.
Rose can’t stand one more person meddling in her business, even if that person is a handsome, eligible sheriff. She’s been controlled for far too long. But since her fiancé’s father is both her boss and landlord, she can’t dump Jason until she’s got somewhere to run. She’s found the perfect place: a patch of forest outside town. But with Cab watching her every move, she’s hard pressed to finish her hideaway so she can make her escape. Meanwhile, she’s not the only one with problems. Can she find a way to help her friends, too?
Just when Cab solves one mystery, more pop up. Where does Rose keep disappearing to? What’s wrong with Mia Start? Why is Hannah Chatham lying to her fiancé? At least he’s let Rose know he’s interested. And if he’s not mistaken, she’s interested, too.
Rose’s hideaway is perfect, until her friends invade it to escape their own troubles. Can she trust them to keep its whereabouts a secret? Does she want to hide from Cab anymore? Now that Jason’s out of the picture, is it safe to follow her heart?
When two unexpected visitors arrive with secrets of their own, Chance Creek must brace for its deadliest night ever. Can Cab figure out the connections between all the mysteries fast enough?
Or will Rose and her friends pay the ultimate price?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
In this fifth book of the Cowboy's of Chance Creek we finally get Cab's story. The (in my opinion) sexy, quiet, unassuming Sheriff. He's the 4th of the best friends group. Personally I liked Cab the best of the 4 best friends, but then again the fact that he is described as a big guy is what clinches it for me. Another thing I enjoyed about it was the fact that Cab compliments Rose's character so nicely. I liked that Rose is putting her happiness first for once and is going after what she wants. Now there is something about this book that threw me off at first. We have a third POV in this one, but it is also one that brings fun and excitement to the book. I also found it a great way to introduce a new character to the series. It was very fitting for the sheriff's story.
THE COWBOY LASSOS A BRIDE
Jake Matheson loves everything about ranching the Double-Bar-K, except for his father’s controlling nature. It’s bad enough the old man won’t step down and let him run things his own way. Now Holt has demanded that Jake find a wife—in the next thirty days. Jake knows just the woman he wants–Hannah Ashton–but they haven’t even gone on a date, let alone been together long enough for him to propose. He’ll have to work fast to secure her hand in marriage before his time is up.
Hannah Ashton loves the fifteen hundred pound bison she rescued from being the object of a trophy hunt. She’s grateful for Gladys’s temporary home on the Double Bar K—and for the chance it gives her to see Jake on a daily basis. But now Holt Matheson is threatening to kick Gladys off the ranch—or eat her!—unless Hannah spends fourteen consecutive nights with Jake. What they get up to together is their business, but if Hannah misses a night, it’s bye-bye bison.
Jake can’t believe Hannah has agreed to move into his cabin, but now his brother Ned is stirring up trouble, trying to break them up before he can propose. Hannah’s beginning to think it’ll be hard to leave the ranch when her fourteen nights are over—even if she’s heading to veterinary school. She’s falling for Jake–hard–but Jake wants a traditional wife, not a career woman.
Will a pregnancy scare unite Jake and Hannah in a common goal? Or will it drive them apart for good?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
I have to say that there were parts of this sixth book that bothered me. I really don't like Holt too much in this book. I am still waiting for him to redeem himself, and as well his need to manipulate things. Don't get me wrong Holt's heart is in the right place, its his methods of doing things that are all wrong. But this book isn't about Holt. Its about Jake and Hannah and the development of their relationship. Yes they start it with secrets and ulterior motives but their true feelings quickly slip out and show themselves. Its nice to see more and more of the Matheson boys and the Double-Bar-K ranch. And what I love the most of this whole story... is that both Jake and Hannah aren't afraid to stand-up for what they want.
THE COWBOY RESCUES A BRIDE
Ned Matheson is sharing a house with the woman he loves, but he can’t kiss her, or even touch her. In fact, she can barely look him in the face. He knows he needs to be patient; Fila Sahar has been to hell and back as a captive of the Taliban for over a decade. Now she’s safely back on American soil, but her fears hem her in so tightly, she might as well be a prisoner again. If he wants to marry her—or even date her—he’ll have to help her regain her courage. He thinks he’s found the perfect way for her to become a strong, independent woman—he’ll give her a restaurant of her very own to run.
Fila can’t believe she’s finally home, or that a handsome cowboy like Ned cares for her, but before she can give her heart to any man, she has to find the courage to stand on her own two feet. When Ned surprises her with his perfect solution—the restaurant he’s leased and renovated in her name—she’s overwhelmed—with fear, not gratitude. She can barely leave the house, let alone run a business. So when Ned’s father sends them out of town to check on the family’s remote hunting cabin, she’s grateful for the delay.
Ned knows his father hopes this trip will split them up, but he’s determined it will bring them together instead. When disaster strikes, all bets are off. Ned will learn what it’s like to be helpless. Fila will have to recover the courage she lost years ago.
Can they survive the weekend? Or will this trip be their last?

ADRI'S REVIEW:
And we have reached the last of the currently published book in the series. And it is a duzzy. We are first introduced to Fila in Cab and Rose's book, we already know she is has been through a lot, but we don't know how much until this book. Even though she acts afraid and meager Fila is anything but. She is brave and strong. She just needs the right person to show her what lies in waiting. I gotta say even though Ned has been pretty rough in the previous books, he has such a sweet and soft side that we get to see in this one. Something else that endures me to Ned is because I can understand him and his issues of having to deal with Dyslexia. As a mom to a child with this same issue I was able to relate to him and his feelings.
Well that brings us to the end of the current Cowboys of Chance Creek books, but there is still at least 1 if not more books to go. I personally can't wait to read Luke and Mia's story. Cora Seton is also bringing us a new series with The Hero's of Chance Creek. Which I look forward to reading (review for the first book will go live July 4th). BTW if you want to know more about Cora Seton and her books you can always follow her on her website... Cora Seton Website
I am happy and grateful to have come across this fantastic author and series. I will bring you more in the future that is a promise.
Happy Reading... Adri
