REVIEW: Fake It by Jennifer Chance

As her sizzling new series continues, Jennifer Chance sparks some serious combustion between a sexy biker and a corporate go-getter who’s ready to let her hair down.

New grad Anna Richardson works hard—so hard that she’s given up having a romantic life. Anna has even convinced her friends that she’s dating an amazing guy—who they’ve simply never met. But now Anna has a wedding to attend and needs to produce the hottie she’s been lying about for the past six months. Enter Jake Flynn, her infuriating, motorcycle-riding, jaw-droppingly gorgeous neighbor, who’s more than willing to fake it for a weekend. In fact, Jake won’t be satisfied until things get real.

Though Jake is only playing the role of adoring boyfriend, he’s starting to feel the heat, and judging by Anna’s sweet blush, so is she. Letting chemistry this intense go to waste would be a real shame. Soon, though, the thin line between fantasy and reality fades. Jake may not be what every buttoned-up fast-tracker wants, but he’s sure as hell what Anna needs. And if she takes a ride with him, their adventure never has to end.

ADRI'S REVIEW:

First off thank you to NetGalley and Random House for approving us so that we can write this review.

Though this story reminds me a lot of the many different fake wedding date movies and stories Ive seen in the past it has something those others dont have... Jake Flynn. The sexy motorcycle riding bad boy, who also has the sweetest heart by taking care of things for his grandmother. I have to add that this story is steamy as all hell. The chemistry between Jake and Anna is great. I also like that Jake brings out a side of Anna that she didn't think she had. One that shows others that there is nothing she can't have or do if she wants it. Also it is great to see how Jake takes a workaholic Anna and teaches her how important and easy it is to take time to just enjoy life.

Anna's character at times can be pretty frustrating. Especially when she gives into her friends and the way that they think. But it is also understandable why she has this need to be perfect. The things that she  went through after losing her dad is what formed her into the person that she is as an adult. She has this need to make sure everything is always perfect, which is why the relationship with Jake is perfect for her.

Of course this is the second book in Jennifer Chance's Rule Breakers Series, but can easily be read without having read the first one... Though I have to say... Rock It is such a great read, there is no reason NOT to read that as well.

Happy Reading... Adri
