She's going to do whatever she can to resist the rocker, Van Sinclair, and he's going to do everything to get her attention. Her response to Van is priceless as she doesn't fall right in to his arms, she's going to make him work for it. Van is determined though and wears her down eventually. You get caught up just as quickly as Lexie did in the whirlwind lifestyle Van leads and it's easy to see how Lexie could fall for him, he's a sweetheart, not to mention, HOT! The way the couple handles adversity is very real. You feel for the couple as real life just seems to barge in at every turn. The tour is stressful, the groupies are relentless and Lexie has a job waiting for her, back in her world. Van is determined to make her fit in his life, he has fallen and fallen hard. Leaning on her one girl friend on the tour, Lexie leans more about her rocker boyfriend and just how much she means to him. When the two face the ultimate test of loyalty will they sink or will they swim? Is their relationship ready for Van's unconventional world, and is Lexie herself?
Van and Lexie are amazing. They are the perfect balance to each other. Their chemistry is sizzling. I loved their friends, from Lexie's neglected best friend to Van's band mates, there wasn't one that I didn't want to know more about. A smart, sweet story that will have you believing in making the impossible, possible.
