I went in to this book with an open mind, as I'm not much of a western reader but Cassandra roped me in pretty darn quick! Conner and Jessica's story is one filled with lust, sex and each of them give the other something they desperately need. Conner brings out Jessica's hidden desires and she compliments him well with her ability to tame the wild beast, so to speak. Conner's dom tendencies are prevalent throughout their story and by the end take on a whole new meaning with his new-found love for Jessica. Conner is the man you just have to have, and will go to any lengths to protect his woman. Jessica is the perfect compliment to Conner. After finding this was the first in a series I just couldn't wait to get my hands on all of them. Wonderful characters, an awesome read, and thanks to Cassandra....now a western fan
