Ella's Turning WHAT?? Ella Jade's Birthday Blog Hop

It's Ella Jade's Birthday Blog Hop and this is my first blog hop experience so I hope to gain some new followers.   Make sure to check out the other stops on this blog hop to increase your chances to win prizes and books. 

Ella asked us to tell you what our favorite or most memorable birthday was.  My favorite birthday was in 2007 and it was spent at Graceland to see Elvis Presley's house.  This was the first birthday after my dad had died and we went on vacation with my best friend and her hubby.  Graceland was our first stop because it was a birthday present.  Watching the experience through my then 4 y/o son's eyes was amazing.  The simple fact that he still talks about the record room leads me to believe that he does remember that amazing trip.  We went to Florida and then to North Carolina after Graceland so it was an amazing birthday vacation.

    I haven't been to Graceland but would love to. My favorite birthday was in 2006 when I went to Vegas to get married to my soul mate. There's something about Vegas that makes things fun!

    My favorite birthday memory is one birthday when I was 8 or 9 (I think) and my parents let me invite a bunch of people over, including all of my family, and everyone just ran around in the yard, jumped on the trampoline, got in and out of those plastic pools around the yard, ate homemade cake and ice cream that my mom made, and hit the pinata! It was super fun just to be a kid and run around with all of my friends on a great day that involved homemade yummy treats!     I haven't been on too many trips, mostly just local, I live about 40 miles from New Orleans, One year, my mom took me to the shops in the French Quarter, I bought so many unique mythological creatures for my collection.
