First, I want to thank Bethany Lopez and Nichole Kuhn for providing me with the copy of this book so I may bring you this review. 8 Weeks by Bethany Lopez is the first book in the Time for Love series.

WOW!! What an emotional roller coaster ride Bethany Lopez took me on with her book 8 Weeks. There were times when I needed to stop the ride to get a tissue or two.

Cal made a monumental mistake that put his marriage in total jeopardy.  Shelly hesitantly agreed to give Cal 8 weeks to redeem himself or the marriage would be over. Cal amazed me by the dates he chooses to take Shelly on. They were so sweet and thoughtful. My favorite was the Hunter Hayes Concert. Some dates were even out of his comfort zone.

Shelly and Cal have an amazing set of best friends. They have been there for each other through thick and thin since their high school days.  Each of them brings something unique to the story.

My favorite story line between the friends hands down is Gabby and Scott’s. My hope is Bethany follows up with that story line in the next book. Can’t wait to read it to find out!

By now you should know by now that I am a big fan of Ruby Foxx. So, you know I just had to read this book. Yes, I know it is very taboo in nature and might not be everyone's cup of tea. However, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It is about a girl named Stacy who shows up at Ray her former Step Dad's door late one night after her Mom threw her out. Stacy an Ray always had a great friendship. She felt safe and secure with him. Stacy's Mom had been married to Ray for several years before they divorced due to her infidelity. Ray hated leaving her behind but they kept in touch over the years.  Stacy was not the sweet innocent 10 year old he once knew. She blossomed into a beautiful woman. As all Roxy's books she jumps right into the story and doesn't hold anything back. 

 I am giving Stacy's First Time by Ruby Foxx 4.5 out of 5 kisses.

The Eloquent Jock was the first M/M Romance Novel that I have ever read by local WNY author Cassandra Carr. Brendon Kohl was an English Lit major who wanted to do a work study program for Dr. Scott Greenfield. Dr. Scott Greenfield was a famous murder mystery author in need of a new teacher’s assistant. His former TA, Terri had been recently forced to leave school when her grandmother fell and needed care.  Dr. Greenfield found himself dangerously lusting over Brendon. Dr. Greenfield wasn’t closeted but he never got involved with or dated anyone from the University because he knew it would be unethical. Brendon was on the college’s hockey team and during practice his mind would wander to Dr. Greenfield.  Brendon realized he was more attracted to men than woman when he got into high school but has never done anything about his curiosity. His college roommate and best friend Tyler were like brothers. Tyler would constantly be trying to fix him up with a girl. However, Brendon always made some lame excuse about being broke or too busy to date. He hated keeping the secret from him and Dr. Greenfield. So many times he wanted to confess to Tyler he was gay but had his doubts on his reaction. Nobody knew his true desires and had to keep his feelings closeted. He wondered if the rumors were true that Dr. Greenfield was gay. He worked for the professor and he thought he would never be interested in him. He couldn’t deny his strong attraction for him anymore. Ever since Brendon’s confession that he was gay the professor could not get him out of his head. He had been thinking about him day and night! He wanted Brendon so bad and knew he could not have him. To fight temptation he just let him alone and let him be. However, that upset Brendon. So Brendon confronted him and ended up catching the professor off guard and kissed him. Brendon’s first gay kiss I may add. Where does the story go from there? You will just have to read the book to find out. Cassandra Carr did a great job writing this book. I enjoyed reading about the characters, how they both secretly wanted each other, Brendon coming out to Tyler and to Mr. Greenfield, and the overall love story. I give this book a 4.5 out of 5 kisses. I look forward to reading more books by Cassandra.

I want to first thank NH Kuhn and Constance Phillips for providing with a copy of this book so we could bring you this review. High praises for author Constance Phillips in All That’s Unspoken. By far the best book I have read in 2015! It is such a heart warming and emotional story.  The characters and situations are totally relatable. It is such tough decision for Hailey to put her father into a nursing home. Her siblings all agree it is the best thing for him. However, she has rose colored glasses on and in total denial of how bad his health is. Nate has to be my favorite character in the whole story. He is such a sweet, caring, loving man who steps up to the plate for his daughter Lori. Lori is an adorable little girl who has a love for horses. The scenes they share with Hailey just melt my heart. There is a romance that is being rekindled between Nate and Hailey. This story is just the beginning of Constance Phillips three book series. You can bet that I am looking forward to reading them all. All That’s Unspoken gets 5 out of 5 kisses from me!




Constance Phillips lives in Ohio with her husband, daughter, two kitties, and four canine kids.
When not writing stories of finding and rediscovering love, Constance is counting down the days until her son and daughter-in-law make her a grandma and planning a cross-country motorcycle trip with her husband for the not-so-distant future…if they can find a sidecar big enough for the pups.

Mr Elliott asked Bella to meet with him to discuss her future employment with the company. The meeting didn't quite go as Bella had planned. Yet, she was willing to do anything to keep her job. Tempting the Boss will not disappoint fellow Ruby Foxx fans! It is a short quick read that goes right to the heat of the story. I am looking forward to the reading Tempting the Boss: The Agreement.
