Tamed, Torn Series #5, is now live! This book focuses on Adam and Amber. Adam is the guitarist with a wild streak in the Torn Series band, Breaking The Hunger. Amber is the best friend of the main character of Torn, Chloe. Both of these characters have a wild streak, something you're aware of if you've read the other Torn Series books.
Tamed can be read as a standalone.

I loved that this book wasn't your typical broken guy/good girl fixes broken guy type of romance. Hell, I think Amber is more messed up than Adam. These two are their own worst enemies and it makes you want to smack them when they can't see past their own insecurities to see what everyone else sees.
Adam is cocky, confident and doesn't do relationships. He's honest about it so there are no pretenses with him. He and Amber have a good thing. Hook up, leave, no commitment. Just the way they like it. Then the one thing they said would never happen started to happen.
If you like angst, you get angst. If you like stubborn characters that have an edge, well, jump right in.
Amber and Adam's story is rough, it isn't pretty and it shows just what can happen when you make a promise to yourself you know you can't keep forever.
The supporting characters lives are just as messed up as Adam and Amber's and it just adds to the story. I like when books don't make everyone perfect. These characters are real. With real flaws. I love that.
This is a 5 star read for me. This is also the first book in this series that I've read, and I need to change that asap. Love Amber and Adam's story!
