Sarah's Review:

America's Bravest started my love for Kathryn Shay's writing in 2011.  The Malvaso Clan continued it. While I haven't been actively searching out new books by Mrs. Shay, I do follow on FB so when she posts updates I see them.  More info about the Hidden Cove series can be found here

I found this out about this 3 novella anthology on FB and bought it right away.  Then I discovered that I missed one, It Had to Be You.  Needless to say, I got that one too.  I haven't read it yet, but I will be soon.

With my reading time being limited, it did take me the whole weekend to read it (September 13th-16th).  I enjoyed reading about characters that I had been introduced to briefly in previous books, but this time, they were more in depth.  Despite them being novellas, there was a lot f information and events that happened.   Each of these stories had powerful story lines, but they also have the romance that I love.  Add in the fact that these characters are firefighters, it made for a winning combination for me.

I don't have a favorite novella of the three, but they each hit my heart in different ways.  I don't even have a favorite character in this series.

Thank you to Kathryn Shay for continuing to bring more Hidden Cove stories out.
