Thank you first of all to Mardi Maxwell and Dreams Come True Promotions for allowing us to bring you this review. 

Ok so its no secret that I have become a HUGE Mardi Maxwell and her sexy doms of Club Mystique, so getting to read Zane's Choice and his story wasn't hard to get through quickly. It always amazes me how dumb some of these men can be. To doubt themselves and what they know about the women they have feeling for in their hearts is astonishing. There are times that Ravyn and what she has been through saddened me. To be stuck in the marriage that she was in, with such a horrible person for a husband out of a sense of loyalty to her father. Then to find out that it really wasn't what her dad wanted was sad. To know she had to hide and suffered alone for so long was a bit hard for me to read because of my own past experiences. 

There were times during this book that I doubted if Zane would ever get his head out of his ass long enough to see what everyone else sees. But something that I love about Mardi Maxwell and her books is that they are ongoing series and we not only get to see our other characters from previous books but we also get to see how their investigation is going. I look forward to getting to see what else happens with these characters. And even though we know she has found the prefect sub for the five Ramsey brothers there are still a few more characters waiting for their perfect subs, and know Mardi will bring them to us... And I will say this who I am most curious about is definitely Thor and Marisol.

ADRI'S REVIEW:

HOT... that is the first thing that I can say about this book. Now we all know I love my BDSM stories, but this one takes it out of the park. Twin Doms that are mirror images of themselves with their sub, SEXY.

I want a Luc and Logan all for myself. I have to say that I am a bit jealous of Cassie and the position she gets into with these two Doms. I don't envy her past and some of the things that she goes through. She is a strong person in general, but it is sad that she had to go through so much and lose so many to get to be that strong. 

This is one of those melt your panties and panting like a dog kinds of stories that you will not want to stop reading. Definition of a bookhangover is understood once you are done, because you aren't ready to say goodbye to these characters.

I’m an avid reader of romance, especially erotic romance, so it just made sense for me to write what I love to read. I began writing short stories in high school but it wasn’t until college that I discovered how much I truly enjoy the writing process—researching an idea, creating an imaginary setting, populating it with characters and then telling their story.

Like most people, life keeps me busy, but I write every day. If I’m not writing, I’m reading or plotting my next book, or the next scene in the book I’m working on. The romances I enjoy the most have laughter, tears, hot lovers who overcome obstacles to be together, scorching-hot sex scenes, and happy endings. The only book I’ll read where one of the main characters dies is a vampire novel where they get to come back for an eternal happy ending.

When I’m not writing I enjoy gardening (unsuccessfully but persistently), spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and dreaming about my next book.

I have to say first off Thank you to A Dream Come True Promotions for providing us with an ARC of Jackson's Sub as well as a copy of To Love and Obey so that we could write a proper review.

Though you do not need to read the first book to understand Jackson's Sub, I feel you would benefit greatly from reading it. It does give you a bit of an introduction to both characters as well as the other characters and the relationship dynamic between them.

Though Jenna has a bit of a self-esteem issue, that she really shouldn't feel, she is a strong character that knows herself well enough and knows what she wants and what she deserves. Even though she was rejected by Jackson the year before she was determined to not let him get her down.

Now Jackson is that typical stubborn ex-Marine Dom, who because of his bio-parent's disfunctional relationship and tragic death, he thinks he isn't good enough for the woman that he fears he loves. Once Jenna returns to his ranch and his home now that he knows what happened in the past a bit better he is determined not to lose the chance to make her his once and for all.

Both To Love and Obey and Jackson's Sub, have this great mix of love, BDSM and a bit of adventure. Plus they really are sexy as all hell. I definitively look forward to what other stories Mardi Maxwell brings us in this ongoing series.
