COVER REVEAL: BAIT BY M.MABIE

Coming this Summer…

BAITweb

Synopsis

He was trouble from the start, but I couldn't resist.
She was the best kind of trouble. The kind that was so wrong, it felt right.
I’ve tried and failed to stay away from him.
I’ve done everything in my power to make her mine and keep her.
He’s almost impossible to say no to.
She never tells me yes.
We’re always fighting.
When we’re not fighting, we’re… well… making up.
He makes me laugh so hard.
I miss her laugh the most.
I'm a liar.
She knows the truth, but won’t admit it.
Sometimes, I wish I'd never met him.
I wish we could meet all over again. I'd do better.
His sweet girlfriend knows.
The guy she’s with is a fool.
I’ll never love anyone like I love him.
She doesn’t love me enough to choose us.
It was the wrong place.
It was the wrong time.
It should have been him.
It will always be her.

REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: FADE IN BY M. MABIE

FadeInweb Fade In by M. Mabie

Synopsis:

Tatum Elliot is a successful writer on a hit television show, lives in an Upper East Side apartment and loves her life. She wouldn’t change a thing. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a choice. She's losing her sight. Tripping over her tongue and her heels, Tatum all too quickly realizes that the things which appeared so important before are slowly slipping away leaving room for what really matters. With the support of her best friends, family and colleagues, she begins to see that there’s much more to life… and herself. When Ben Harris enters her life as her new personal assistant, she can’t tell if it’s his good looks and charm that are working on her libido, or his kind and helpful nature working on her heart? Whatever it is, neither one of them can resist it. As her vision fades out, a world of love and happiness just might…Fade In. Fade In is a contemporary-romance novel about laughing through your tears and telling life to, quite frankly, “Suck it.” This novel contains sexual situations that the author may or may not have tried at home… for your safety, of course. Research is research.

 Excerpt

 "Ben?"
"Tatum."  Hearing my name cross his lips in that sultry voice is more of a turn-on than I could have ever imagined and I need to shut it down.  "You looked really pretty this morning."
"I did?"
"Yep.  And I bet you look even better right now in bed."
My pulse races.  How does he know I'm in bed?
He yawns, and that makes me yawn too, even though now I'm wide awake.
"Thanks.  You weren't that bad to look at yourself.  What makes you think I'm in bed?"
"I don't know.  I was just guessing.  It is the middle of the night."  He pauses before adding, "And that's where I've been picturing you."
I blush.  "You're picturing me?  What am I wearing?"  I laugh to myself, thinking that the cliché question is suppose to be "What are you wearing?"  But we're in his imagination and I'm eager to know what he keeps there.
He makes a humming sound that vibrates all the way through me.  "You really want to know?"
"Yes."  My one-word answer comes out slowly and wavers in and out, sounding like a question.
I hear the air hiss through his teeth before he says, "It isn't much.  Sleep well.  I'll see you in the morning."  Then he's gone before I even say goodnight or talk him further into a pay-by-the-minute type of conversation.
I won't bore you with the details, but my faithful device, Mr. Right, just didn't cut it tonight.   Maybe it's time for a new one.
Or new lots of things.

Erin's Review

This book is AMAZING!!! AH-MAY-ZING! Tatum is a riot, I love her to pieces. She's such a smartass! Underneath that tough outer shell is a woman who's scared. She doesn't want to be a burden to anyone and the last thing she wants to do is fall in love, especially after the last disaster of a boyfriend. Speaking of the last boyfriend, M. Mabie has written what has to be the BEST breakup scene in the written language. I laughed until I cried. Don't worry, you don't have to wait long, it happens fairly early in the book. To say it was epic would be an understatement. I have no shame in recommending this book based on that scene alone-seriously, it's awesome.
Every character in this book is worthy of their own story. They get in your head and your heart and you love every one of them.
Tatum is the friend you need to have in your life. She's the girl that speaks before she thinks, doesn't care what people say, and the one you know you can trust everything with. And there is so much more to her than she shows everyone. She reserves that side for those closest to her. And you better hope you stay on her good side!
Ben Harris is sex on legs. I am convinced we all need a personal assistant named Ben now. You know there is something he isn't telling Tatum but you love him anyway. And when his secret comes out, you can't hate him for it, you just want to hug him and do all sorts of other things at the same time.
Aside from the light moments in the book, of which there are a ton, the heavy stuff is...well, gut-wrenching. Tatum's inner turmoil about losing her sight brings tears to your eyes. Ben's ability to always know just what she wants warms your heart. Every woman should try to be like Tatum and every guy should be a little more like Ben.
This book definitely had it's tear jerker moments, the closet scene?? *sigh* You'll have to just read it to see if Ben gets the same break up treatment the other jerk does. Love the book, love Tatum and Ben, and love the message that the book conveys- As her vision fades out, a world of love and happiness just might…Fade In.

REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: FINDING AUTUMN By Beth Michele

Synopsis
My name is Autumn Winters.

The truth is, that's the biggest lie I've ever told.

My real name is Olivia Redmund. Autumn Winters is the curtain I hide behind. You see, I write bestselling erotic romance novels. But my life is far from erotic. The only fantasy exists in my head.

The day I met Hunter Grayson, that all changed. A handsome stranger on a train who turned my world upside down, made me think and feel things I never knew were possible.

But he's hiding, too.

What happens when I slowly realize that who I truly am is more similar to who I'm pretending to be? I want to be brave enough to tell the world, but the fear is crippling.

Fear of myself. Fear of the unknown. Fear of what others will think.

But life is too short to be afraid.

And I'm so damn tired of hiding.

Excerpt
“Shit,” I mumble to myself when I spy the pink vibrator, glaring proof of my non-existent sex life now on public display. “God damn it,” I utter again, shaking my head and scrambling to grab it, when I notice a pair of beautiful, masculine hands scooping up my belongings. Completely mortified, my cheeks flush a deep red, and I’m silently praying he hasn’t spotted my favorite sex toy. My eyes make their way from the ground, climbing past the hands and up the length of strong, muscular arms to an absolutely gorgeous face, and I take a hard swallow. A chiseled jaw with a hint of stubble, irises the color of aged brandy, a sharp, sculptured nose, and perfectly tousled hair that matches his hypnotic eyes. I don’t realize that I’m staring until his lips quirk up into a grin.

Could I be any more obvious?

He tosses the items back in my purse and nods toward the vibrator. “I’ll let you handle that one,” he offers, his voice a rich timbre to my ears. “Although,” he whispers, leaning in close, “I’m sure I could put it to good use.” My mouth drops open in surprise, just as he reaches his thumb out to skim my bottom lip. “I’m pretty sure I could put this sexy mouth to good use, too.”

Erin's Review:
Finding Autumn is a deliciously hot read that packs a big story in to a delectable novella that will leave you hot and bothered! Olivia and Hunter are both hiding, but what can one night hurt? Then one night turns in to one weekend. Then when the secrets come out, who will run and who will fight?
These two have amazing chemistry. From their first encounter on the train you feel the electricity between them. You will be screaming for both of them to come clean and tell the other one their secret because you just know they belong together. Olivia discovers a side to her that she thought only existed in the books she writes and with Hunter it just feels right. Hunter is a flirt, but there;s something different about the girl he meets on the train. The girl who carris a pink vibrator in her purse. Little does he know, she is the one that will help him in more ways than he could ever imagine. Neither are prepared for what was supposed to be a clandestine weekend to turn in to so much more.
Love the story, love Olivia/Autumn and Hunter. My only regret is that their story wasn't longer! Perfect read for those that believe in lust/love at first sight and always root for the HEA.
